John William Ringger, 78, of Holland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was born on January 9, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Elizabeth (Sturtz) Ringger.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife, Elizabeth "Burgie" Ringger; brother, William; and son, Michael. He is survived by his children, John (Shawna) Ringger, Brandon (Krista) Skiver, and Nicole Skiver; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael, Mark and Christine; and aunt, Ruth.
John retired from Toledo Edison and enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
Friends may visit at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, Ohio, on Sunday, July 5th, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. The funeral ceremony will be held at Coyle, at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, July 6. Interment with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
