Patricia Bloomer-Kirkpatrick
November 18, 1952 - July 31, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Patricia Bloomer-Kirkpatrick. Patricia was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Patricia went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on July 31, 2026.
Patricia was born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1952. She was raised in Oak Harbor, OH, and graduated from the Oak Harbor High School. While working full time, Patricia attended Lourdes University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with honors, graduated magna cum laude; she was a member of the Kappa Gamma Pi Honor Society.
Early in her career, Patricia gained insurance experience working for Merryl Lynch and found she loved to help people. In 2000, Patricia married Keith Kirkpatrick from Marion, OH. In that same year, they built a house together in Perrysburg and embarked on a new journey together as she opened agency for State Farm where she has been an agent for 26 years. Joined by her daughter, Nicole, as the "Pink Ladies of State Farm".
In that time Patricia won many awards, among them Crystal Excellence, Silver Scroll and Chairman's Circle. As a member of State Farm SVP Club / Ambassador Travel, Patricia (and family) have been blessed to travel to many countries such as France, Spain, England, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden, Russia and others. Patricia was often planning our next trip before we got home from the current one!
Patricia LOVED to bake! She was in her element when the Kitchen Aid mixer was whipping up batter and flour and powdered sugar were flying everywhere. Keith was always happily available to open a jar or transfer baking contents while the master was at work.
Patricia believed that a strong Christ-centered education was paramount and exhibited that as a proud sponsor of Toledo Christian School where her 2 favorite humans, Axyl and Azlyn, attend today and benefit from her passion for Jesus and to be the Best Mimi Ever!
Patricia loved to plant flowers and grow a garden. She loved spending time outdoors talking with the neighbors, especially Laura W., who helped throughout the year with flowers and vegetables. Those two could find any excuse to run out for a manicure or pedicure!
Owning and operating a small business requires many helpers. Special mention to Dan H. who handles everything from pool, trees, grass and anything in between, as well as her special "Cuz", Kim V., who was always ready and willing to help with Patricia's next scheme!
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Phil; and favorite puppies, Marley and Ditto-Baci. Here to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Keith; treasured children, Sean (Tiffany) Bloomer and Nicole Bloomer; cherished grandchildren, Jordyn, Jake, Avery, Azlyn and Axyl; chosen family, Randi, Baby Kade and Best Puppy Cupid; as well as many other special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial Fund in her honor at Toledo Christian School.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. A service celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
